The Penitent is a long story that seems to have "collected" quite a few other stories along the way.  If you're interested in some of these stories (not all on Vader's Mask), please go visit!

The Encounters stories, Last Encounter and First Encounters, tell the story of how Amidala came to be queen in Theed again after the war (from Ulrike's Dragon Library).

Vader and Leia's background together for The Penitent come from the Father's Heart stories.

Carrier of the Dead  (co-written with Andrew Carlson) is the back story of Zemai Laryhi, the ancient Sith who comes to Anakin's defense. (at Dragon Library)

The Roads to Sanctuary stories are the tales of the war orphans who find their way to Kit Binai's orphanage on Tatooine.  So far, only Uprising (Dritali Neral) and
Hidden Home
(Kerea Morlana) (Fanfiction.net) have been completed, but I hope to do more, including Vertash G'lahter's story and the back story of how Anakin and Kitster found the place..

The character of Isabel Tashin was created by JediSkysong, and is used in her stories in several fandoms.  My deep apologies, but I lost the links in the site move.  I hope to return them soon!
Read Acts of Atonement, the ongoing "midquel" to The Penitent, at TheForce.Net's fan fiction stories forum.
As the verdict draws closer, Anakin and his family prepare for the worst by drawing together and learning to need one another again.
Having revealed his past to the galaxy, Anakin Skywalker must now answer for the crimes of Darth Vader, and face his accusers among the Living and the Dead.
When the honorable Imperial officer, Kyrys Tashin, comes to Naboo to stand trial for  crime Vader committed, Anakin must come forward to defend him, revealing his family's deepest secret.
In the remote Runa system, the New Republic discovers an Imperial cloning lab, and the last temptation Palpatine was going to offer his most loyal servant -- a new, young, healthy body.  But Palpatine is dead and so are his schemes.  Can Anakin use the clone to begin to atone for his past?
